The surface hardness of sand mould is scored as:A,B, C, three models, of which:
A Type: apply to manual or mechanical low and medium pressure molding of fine sand (core) surface hardness test.
B Type: applicable to manual or mechanical low and medium pressure molding of fine, coarse sand (core) surface hardness test.
C Model: apply to high pressure molding sand surface hardness test.
Among them, the most commonly used model is B, and the other two models need to order.
It is used to determine the surface hardness of wet mold sand (core), and provide technical parameters for developing molding process.
According to the principle that the force of the spring is linear with the stroke, the distance of the stroke is expressed by the surface pointer through the transmission of a set of gears and racks.
A.Sand surface hardness testerBThe unit of type is (g/mm2), but is customarily not expressed in units but is expressed in hardness. Because their quantity values are related and consistent, the values of hardness are large when the unit value is large (g/mm2).
Usage method
adjust the 0 bit, when the pointer is not in the 0 bit, turn the adjustment ring, so that the pointer to 0.
When used, the hardness is pressed in the sand on the test plane (axis hardness of the surface to be perpendicular to the plane of the sand), sand hardness meter gauge plane and the close contact, the pointer is stopped at a certain value, press the locking pin to lock, reading test a fixed value, and then releasing the locking pin so that the pointer reply 0.
The determination was made at 3~5 times per assay, and then the average number was calculated, as well as the hardness of the part.
